Gamespot...
I am starting a huge gaming website like gamespot.com. I see a couple things on there I would like to maybe use something similar. Like the column headings and such. And I love the very top heading. Could anyone tell me how to do some of these things? Like the Glassy look on the headers.

i guess u just fill a selection over it with white, and lower the opcaity for the top thing

u can get those glass buttons with a simple imageready tut.

ooo you're going to compete with gamespot??? You aren't going to charge though right?

Sry bout the double post, but its easy to do in photo shop.
Make a rectanglular selection and fill it with a greyish color.
Take the image you want to use as the bg of the glassy button and paste it into your image.
Take the outline of the image and play with the emboss until you get a depression around the image.
Create another layer and fill it with a white to transparent gradient.
Then bevel the level until it seems like a plastic/glass cover.
Hope this helps and here is a sample of what i did with the transparent buttons:
