Hey all, I was talking to a mate when I decided to just jump in and start playing with ps. Well I'm glad I did as this is what has been the result of just messing around. My first planet!!!

I will be working on this in the future, so any comments and suggestions are welcome. I know it's not perfect but I feel it was a good accident.

edit: I know how I did this, thanks to paper and pen I know how I did this and recreated it!!! If anybody wants a tutorial, lemme know.

The planet looks good especialy the atmosphere, the bg needs to be changed to points on light, enlarge the bg and add a moon and you'v really got something.

that is good for an accident. I would suggest not using mezzotint for your stars, trying using various size brushes to create your stars then duplicate the layer add a little radial blue and put that layer under the original one. This will giev you more of a space feel with a little glow from the stars...Good work, can we see some more accidents...

Great accident DO2 and maybe a Tut from it. I like it, but can we have a bit of green on the planet PLEASE.

I'll need to play around and see if I can get more green in it. A tutorial is underway. I will post it tonight, then those of you who want it can mess about with it and see how to improve on it.
