    40 mm computer fans

    Ive seen 40mm fans, but what would you use one this size for?

    arent the holes on computer cases for 80 mm fans?

    The northbridge controls the flow of information between the cpu and memory, pci and agp busses.

    Next to the cpu it's the largest chip on your motherboard.

    These days northbridges get quite hot so they either have little fans on them or big passive coolers.
