I have created a series of straight lines by using the LINE Tool. I see that it automatically creates a SHAPE layer for each line segment I create. The problem I am having is that as soon as I select a different layer than that shape layer, the line segments associated to the unselected layer becomes dim.

I first would like to know why.

Then I would really like (because I need) to learn how to have these line/shape layers remain displayed in its intended undimmed view.

Can anyone help me???
