Warped text-background

Hello everybody, I am happy to be here to be clever in Photoshop . I warped a text with Fish-style and I should like to keep and colour the bottle-formed text-background which disappears when I choose another tool. How can I keep it?

I made a screenshot about the bottle-shape, saved as .gif and then I will open it as a layer. I can open images easily as layer in Gimp but I cannot find the same function in Photoshop. If I open it in Bridge, it demands to select 2 files. If I select the psd and the gif, it is not possible to open the layers in the psd . So I made the whole thing in Gimp but I wonder anyway, how I could make it in Photoshop because I should like to learn it.

I get no any answer. I try again. Now I could find the Mini Bridge browser for opening objects as layer. Now I have problem with the Paint Bucket Tool. I should like to change the colour of the warped text. If I choose Text-tool, I cannot edit the default text, I get a new layer. I can select the text by Magic Wand, but anyway it is unpossible to fill the selection with the Paint Bucket tool
