I have been running cs5 on my Dell inspiron desktop pc with Windows7 for the last two years with no real problems. Then the last week it has been very slow and freezing up the whole pc. The task manager reads 1,785,564k just a few seconds after starting photoshop, and climbs to 2,632,894 in a few minutes of editing.I believe this is the problem but don't know what to do.
I have 4gb of ram and I don't remember the task manager that high before, I realize cs5 likes a lot of ram but this is the first issue I have had.
Any ideas will be appreciated, thanx
