What operating system are you using?
You don't actually install fonts to Photoshop directly, you just install then to your computer/operating system. Then any program, including Photoshop, will have access to them.

I know with Windows 7, it's very easy. Once you've downloaded the font file, you can simply right click in it, then there's an Install option. Just click that and hey presto! Probably worth restarting Photoshop after installing any fonts, to make sure it updates, but I don't even think you have to do that.
