Just wondering if Colin might tell us the equipment he uses to do his photo editing on? Monitor, size etc. I am trying to put together some hardware upon which I might better control color and brightness for consistent printing/viewing results. Editing on a laptop screen doesn't seem to be getting me where I want to go.

I use and have used a number of systems. Right now my main system is:

Mac Pro 8 core- forget the speed it's a few years old now, was the first of the 8 core
Ram 24 gig
Video card, nVidia Quadro FX 4800 (1.5 Gb)
4X2 Gb Internal drives

2 Monitors
1. Apple 30" Cinema Display (main display)
2. Wacom Cintiq 21 UX (for editing on)

Thanks Colin! I have been looking at various EIZO monitors, but maybe I should look into Apple also.
