You have to use photoshop to complete at least 50% of your final image as for content the sky is the limit as long as it has something to do with photoshop (filters, brushes, terms etc.). Here's a link to past competitions and the entries to give you a feel for what has been done and stir the creative juices: http://photoshopcafe.com/contest.htm

WOW!! this is really great, good to see that the Cafe is giving artist, designers a chance to show off there creativity and also a challenge.
If i do enter this contest it will be the second time for me in ages lol!!. Great Job Colin!!! oh by the way your tutorials and tips are very useful thanks.

Also one other thing. I went to upload my image, and when it was posted, the quality of the text was EXTREMELY poor compared to the final version that I have. I don't know if there's some additional compression going on when its uploaded, but I'm afraid to post it as it stands because it is SO different/poor when uploaded.
I can add an external link as well, but the rules mentioned that those will not be judged. It's early, so I can make any adjustments needed, I just wasn't sure if others were having similar issues.
...or did I?

Try a higher compression and see if it looks better. We will look into this in the meantime
I want everyone's entry to look it's best, so we are a little loose on the compression rules if it helps
