How buying a Cinema Display cost less than a Samsung AND all its cables.

Well after much working on my laptop screen I decided I needed an external display. A went to Best Buy and picked up a Samsung display and after about 3 hours of configuring the damn thing I took it back.

The next night I was searching online and found a student in Boston that was moving and had a 24" Cinema Display on Craigslist, but the greatest part was the asking price was $400! I quickly contacted the seller, set up a time and picked up the monitor. So please take a moment to welcome the latest addition to my stack of Mac hardware.

The cool thing is when my notebook is closed (clamshell mode) it runs cool AND accelerates the video performance on the external display. Oh and in the process of this I ended up saving $50 in all the extra wires/adapters I needed for the Samsung display.

    I love Apple Cinema Displays, I have 5 of them. 3 x 20", 2 x 30" and an older 20"
