    Projects to do...

I bought this great book (just a different cover because it's in the Dutch language) and there are some very interesting ways to make photos....

There are 52 ways of creative photography but a few I'm gonna try. Like TTV photography, (through the viewfinder). A technique using your own DSLR and a TLR (Twin Lens Reflex) camera. A camera with two lenses on the front, 1 to look through and the other makes the photo. I'm gonna try to make a square cardboard box with on either side a camera.... For more info go here

Another project I'm going to do is buying some Legacy lenses (after putting some time in there to read about it).... NO CAN DO!! reason? I got a Canon camera and The old Canon FD connection was followed by the EF-connection of the EOS system just before the digital age!!

Creating a fish eye effect through a little round pipe (kinda) attached on your lens cap... Did it and it works great. Just the idea of making your own lens, that is fun
Creating a Pin-Hole lens by using a tin can (some piece of it) and a needle. This works great too! A nice long exposed lens, homemade.

Making a stabilization cord, where on one side you can attach to the camera and the other side has a loop to put your foot through. The idea is a good alternative for a tripod (in case you didn't bring it with you). Here's some info...

Just another project is making my own light box.... I got a lot of small stuff which I want to take photos from, so this will come in handy.

I want to make some diffusers, snoots, honeycomb spot and a ring flash made out of plastic bowl for the flash.

As you can see a lot of projects for me to do. Why i wanna do it? Just because i don't want to pay a lot of money to get the right stuff on my doormat! And the satisfaction out of it, HOMEMADE...

That sounds really cool. Keep us posted with pictures of your results!

The idea reminds me a bit of Dean Collins Tinker Tubes, where he creates (what would be expensive) equipment out of PVC pipes

    Thanx Colin.

I bought myself a Kodak Duraflex IV from 1955-1960 for $10! Just the delivery cost are three times higher . It should arrive in just a few days...

I hope to give it a try with the lensbabies....

I hope to sell the Orange amp next week for a new set of monitors...

So there's a lot going on around here

    Also bought this week:

    A pair of glasses (€5)
A Eye Spy (looking through the door) to create my fisheye optic!
Working on the pinhole (coca cola can!)

Finished my first optic! The Fisheye....

Bought a lens cap and drilled a hole in it, then inserted the eye spy. Put ducttape around it to make sure no light comes in.

Ok - another one is done.... Drilled a hole in the camera cap (the cap on the camera when there is no lens on the body) and glued a piece of the coca cola can (with little hole) behind it....

    Did those too Colin .

Did you made one with straws? I made a snoot 15 cm long. Made another one 7,5 cm long in this i have to put a lot of straws to fill the snoot. This will give some sort of a honeycomb effect.
