    A difficult Live Trace...is this feasible?

    I'm not very experienced with Illustrator (CS4), but I've got a photograph of a drawing made on a sheet of plywood with a black ballpoint pen which I would like to trace into Illustrator.

    Trouble is, I really have no idea which settings I should be looking for to get a decent result; thus far, Illustrator hasn't quite gotten the whole thing.

    Anybody have any suggestions on how to do this?

    Good news,
    You have the right application to do the job!

    Live Trace is not a quick fix.
    The Pen Tool is your friend here.
