The story about Maastricht continues...
The church next to the Saint John church is this church, the Baseliek.
I was playing with duotone and came up with this, something different AND I must say I LOVE ORANGE

Well Hermie, it is defiently different!
I like a lot of the elements in this shot, especially the perspective. What bothers me is the way the steeple tops set on the horizon line and the scaffolding that wraps part of the building. Would like to see this as an old sepia tone image. ...or not so orange.

Hermie,
I love your view point!
Maybe it’s just me. I not a big fan of ORANGE especially here.Originally posted by Hermie

The color and saturation does not fit the image.
Maybe try another duotone combo . . . .
Color has meaning. Here is a quick Google search

Thanx Kathryn, as always, you're right.
I wanted this images to be there but not to much. I think with orange (and the fact that i LOVE orange (the color, the amps!) i did a pretty good job. Love the article.
I'll try some different colors on this one after I get back from the beach, it's to damn hot here in Holland and @ the beach it's cooler....
Anyone joining me?
