Reflective Liquid tutorial

I am using CS4 and tried following the above tutorial with no success. Everything is fine up until step 10 where you apply the chrome effect, then mine looks nothing like the tut. Has anyone else managed to successfully complete the tutorial?

The chrome filter is affected by the foreground and background colors

OK Ive tried changing foreground and background colour to white (ffffff) and black (000000) and still cannot achieve the same colours as seen in the tutorial?? Theres a step missing somewhere and me being a newbie I have no idea how to sort it out. Please could you elaborate?

hello im new in photoshop and i was trying to make the reflective type step by step from tutorial.i have tried over 30 times i cant get the same effect or close to that.is there any source.psd or action file that i could use or an easier tutorial for newbies in photoshop.?thanks
