My Kids (this is for you Jim, the Scotsman!)

    Hello there...

I was trying something new after reading Digital Photo (English magazine) and used the Split Tone tutorial.

This tutorial showed split tone in ACR:

    Here is the result....

Dikie Dik and Lotje are there names

Took the photos with my new Sigma lens, APO 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM

Cracking shots Hermie! Done well with the whiskers, as they would usually get lost with the white fur.

Thanx Dave. That's why i tried this method on there photos. And yes they are looking cool...

Thanx Doc. The dark one was standing on a table looking out and the other was standing on the ground (so darker background).

Nicely done Hermie. I especially like the 2nd one as the whiskers and eyebrow whiskers frame the dark eyes beautifully.

Thanx OldGuy. Even my wife liked them, so we gonna hang the photos on the wall.

I love the split tone effect.

If I was smart, I'd use it more often. !DOH
