This is Keith of idesignmyworld.net . I would just like to state for the record that both Elaine and I have resolved this issue amicably as of 9 Jul 09 and once again would like to take this opportunity to apologise to her for the distress caused.

I would also like to state for the record that unlike other instances which were put across in this forum, I did not blatantly "steal" Elaine's work(s) as work was indeed done on my end following the departure of Elaine from the company. However, I do admit that the testimonial given by the client for our general working experience was indeed misleading when featured together with their website and I sincerely apologise for my mistake.

I voluntarily took down the entire page at the first instance when notified by Elaine was not because of guilt but because my site is currently going under a revamp (thus the 'beta') and as such, all old works should have be taken down already. Of course, I'll definitely would not be featuring that site in my revamp because.. well, I believe Elaine has already covered that point in the beginning :P and I would welcome all forms of feedback when my new site is launched (sorry for the shameless plug :P)

All in all, it was a good learning experience for me and I hope would be for others too. My thanks to Elaine and others on this thread for what is indeed a valuable lesson.
