    Placing images on gradient background

    Hi everyone,

Have been endeavouring to place images on gradient background and the problem lies in the fact that the background gradient for the page is 2 separate gradients. Have been trying to use measurement tool in firefox's developer toolbar and have used screenshots and measuring the gradient background but just cant get it to match the background.

Here is the link which will explain more readily what I am trying to achieve:

Hope someone can help, driving me nuts! Thanks to all!

I'm not really sure what it is that you are wanting to do...is it something like this?

    ?

Yes but I want the division of the card to meet the division of the background image and for the 2 gradients top and bottom of the card to blend with the top and bottom of the background gradients. Hope this explains my intent.

All I can picture in my mind is no card at all just some text that does not appear to be on any kind of separated medium to rest upon. I'll have to sleep on it to see it in my minds eye.....
