Jacko hits the UK!
I see this in my paper today and I cannot wait! Michael Jackson on his 'This is It Tour' at the O2 Arena, London!
I have never seen him live, and since this will the "last time" he performs in the UK, I feel I just have to go! The mans a legend and true performer in every way, putting all his personal biz aside, I think this will be an experience of a lifetime!

MICHAEL JACKSON will play TEN concerts at London’s O2 Arena.
At a press conference held in the venue, Jacko looked better than he has in years.
He told the screaming crowd: "These will be my final shows in London. This is it and when I say this is it, I mean this is it.
"I'll be performing the songs my fans want to hear.
"This is the final curtain call.
"I’ll see you in July.
"This is it."
He didn't give full dates, but immediately afterwards a statement was issued confirming Jackson would play 10 shows at the 02 arena “performing in London for the last time”.
It read: “Michael Jackson has not played a series of concerts since he last toured 12 years ago.
“These dramatic shows promise an explosive return with a band of the highest calibre, a state-of-the-art stage show and incredible surprise support acts.”
The 10 concerts will begin on July 8 with ticket prices at £50-75 plus booking fees.
The 50-year-old is expected to pick up around £5million from each gig, which will go towards paying off his debts.
Jackson has lived the life of a virtual recluse since his acquittal of child abuse charges at a 2005 trial.
His increasingly bizarre behaviour coupled with questions over his health have overshadowed his musical output, including a recent 25th anniversary re-release of classic album Thriller and 2001 record Invincible.
The Sun revealed exclusively last month that Jacko had a severe staph infection, like MRSA. He may have contracted it during nose reconstruction surgery.
The star has also been plagued by child sex allegations. He was cleared of all charges at a criminal trial in the United States four years ago.
His last appearance on stage in London was at the World Music Awards, where he was booed for only singing a couple of lines of hit We Are the World.
Despite these fears, Michael’s loyal fans are supporting him 100 per cent.
Jackson is one of the biggest musical acts of all time, selling an estimated 750 million albums. Thriller, released in 1982, is the best selling album of all time.
Wow! Just hope I can get the tickets ontime!!
Also...How cool is the poster advertising this! This was found in our tube station (subway) Will be interesting to see if he can still pull off some of those moves!
I was going to say, I dig that poster.
I'm not sure what he has left, I just hope he puts on a good show.
Yeah it has been done perfectly! Not overdone yet not underdone. With that kind of style/effect, its easy to ruin the whole concept by going overboard with strokes here and there.
Hats of to the designer!
I fancied a little play...
and play some more...
I see that this thread has, erm, died....
