Hi guys any news on the DC9 results yet? I can't wait

yeah, i want to see who wins, certenly not me, hehe.....
But im kind of pissed cause there are some OK works with over 300 votes,one with over 1000!,
u got to be kidding me!,
i mean,there are some extraordinary works there with no more than 50 votes,,,,
I dont know, i just wanted to get it out of my chest....just spend about an hour or so digging all the pieces...
At the end the judges will choose i know,

About the voting, lol. I'm sure that whoever that eventually take the people's choice award will be a deserving winner.

As for finalists + winners, I believe it will come soon. We are all anxious.

Yeah Elemento, Inoticed that I could've voted as many times as I wanted. I am not in the contest, but what would stop a less talented designer from voting for their own work 1,000 or more times?

What if they are on a proxy would you have any way of detecting multiple voters in that case?

Hey, how about we drop this convo before it challenges the integrity of the contest. I trust that these sguys are intelligent enough to put all of the safegaurds in place to insure accurate tallying.

We do really need to remember that, DC main/finalist results are not decided by number of votes. The main judging will be by the 3 heavyweights of the industry, which means fairness and just.

The only result decided by voting, would be People's Choice, which is aside from the main. The hoohaa and upsetness over votes isn't really called for because

1) as I said above, whoever that wins the People's Choice will be a deserving winner - You have to trust PhotoshopCafe and Colin on it. Bossman and co are people who are discerning and clear with matters. Never doubt that.

2) People's Choice is really only a side from the main. The main awards/finalists are decided by the Judges, whom as I said in this same post, the heavyweights in the industry. Votes most probably wouldn't play that big a part or even any parts in it, so why worry that much? If your work is good, if your work is deserving, the judges will pick you even if your votes count is low compared to those in the hundreds/thousands. The judges definitely are discerning and clear.



That said, now lets hold our breath and anticipate the results.
