    Autumn/Summer HDR

    Hi,

Here are a few shots I took this autumn near where I live.

These are taken at Cape Enrage near Fundy National Park (New Brunswick, Canada).

These are a couple of misc. autumn shots in and around where I live.

Here are a couple of summer shots.

This one is the family cottage.

This one is taken Kouchibouguac National Park which is on the other coast of the province I live in.

Hey Olie, thanks for sharing those! They look great, and it looks like you're winding down for the year!

thx Olie! very surreal effect. btw, are u using canon photostitch for panoramas? I can't get it to work without a slight seem showing in blue skies. annoying! cheers,

Isn't that near Fundy Bay somewhere, where they have some sorta whirlpool of death, that if you get sucked in u wind up on Signa-9, somewhere outside the milky way?

Like the photos and the hdr. Some are a bit overdone in colors, but that could be just me.

Nice to see some of your work for the past year Olie

Lovely shots. My favourite is the one looking down the deck at the milk cans and the water. The perspective is great on that one.

Hermie used to tell me the same thing. One day I took a good look at the pics I had submitted and realized he was right.

Nice shots Olie. The HDR makes the clouds look a bit over illustrated which sparates them fom the rest of the photo in most cases but it works perfectly on the family cottage shot which is already the best shot of the bunch, great depth of field and exposure and a really nice comp.

    Hi, thanks for the comments.

In the case of the autumn trees those are the actual colours, the leaves are incredibly vibrant oranges and yellows, if anything that photo underplays them.

mixedupmacandpc - The first three shots are of the Bay of Fundy (The first one is looking the other way ) There are large whirlpools that form in certain areas but they're not whirlpools of death, you wouldn't want to be caught in one but some tours actually go out to look at them.

At high tide the water comes part way up the cliffs you see in the photos, the water variation from low tide to high tide is roughy 50ft (highest tides in the world).
