The Dude does weddings?
Seemingly so.
So I had never really photographed a wedding before. Honestly, I'd never really met too many wedding photographers that I liked (save a good friend from college). The whole industry has never really appealed to me (just too damn boring), but when one does not have a steady check, one does what they must.
Luckily, this was for two good friends of mine who paid me nicely, so it made it a better experience overall. These were shot with the same D300 that I used for the DragonCon shoot, adjusted in Lightroom, and tweaked a little bit in Photoshop.
C&C welcome. Some might seem cliched or done to death, I'm pretty sure. Hey, they're wedding photos! Whaddya want!? Like I said, I've never done this before and was shooting from the hip, so to speak.

Yeah, I know the file sizes are a little too large on a couple of the pics. Sue me!

Really nice shots! You do get the right angles and the right feel.
I guess that whats separates designers from the rest. Lebowski just proved the point.

Very nice!!! I used to work for a photographer who had done some stuff for HBO, Fox and CBS; and I have to say those shots are much nicer than what he was doing. I particularly like the celebration shot! I don't know if it was posed or if you caught them in action; but to your credit it DOESN'T look posed, it looks real natural!
