Hi Marlous,
- Draw a circular path with the Ellipse tool
- Click on the path with the Type tool - the pointer must look like this
- and enter your text

Hope this helps.

Wow, that's quick!! I'm going to test it right away, thanx!!

This is more challenging than I thought. Have to look at the tutorial on how to make a path. My ego is bruised because my knowledge of Photoshop is not that extensive. LOL

Good for u Andrei for posting this essential tut. Learning paths, path selection tools, and the pen tool are a must for anyone that does not want to be handicapped in photoshop, or reliant on illustrator like I was for so many years.

Marlous,
- In the Toolbox, activate the Ellipse Tool
- In the Options bar, click the "paths"
button
- Hold down [Shift] key (to constrain object proportions) and drag over your image

Oke, new try now I am back from work.
Found the tool in the Tool pen section (Photoshop 7) and made a nice circle with it.
I don't get the funny type tool when going over the line to insert the text.

Marlous, welcome to the Café!
We all start somewhere with Photoshop.
For additional step by step tutorials, try Google search.
Search “Text on a circle Photoshop”
Select a tutorial that fits your version of Photoshop and skill level.
Happy Photoshopping.
Doubrovski, I like your little tool icons inserted into the text.
How did you do that?
Edit: Hmm.... I can do those with InDesign's Inline graphics. (Inserting Illustrator graphics as text. )
