I know this is not supposed to be a political forum, but how far is everyone willing to go in protecting their art ..see this ...

This is not really news but just one representation of cases world over based on overblown mistruths that are tried in the courts, and will ultimately restrict your freedoms if turned into the law of the land. And there is nothing worse for an artist feeling restricted no?

So please, if it ever comes up, take a stand against the over exaggeration of any defense, copyright or otherwise, to win your case for protection and freedom at the same time.

The corporate attitude is to make comparisons like this:
"the VCR is to the American film producer and the American public as the Boston Strangler is to the woman alone."

If we were to design a society from scratch, would we put these attitudes in? No, they would stick out like bad hyphenation or a mis-struck line in the middle of the logo. So we have some responsibility here, because in the larger picture, artists, photographers, poets, and as someone put it here recently, Graphic Engineers, are all helping to engineer the shape and design for the future of us all.

Well, good luck,
