USB Stick and VISTA Ultimate
Big problemo here!!!
Is there anything in Vista that haold's back usb-sticks from entering??
I can't use my USB-stick on my main computer!
I did some more testing:
My scanner is working, printer ok, USB hub (old) ok, external card reader doesn't work either!!!
So it has to be something with my internal cardreader and the part of the card reader. USB on the cardreader is working perfectly.
This thread here may help you. There's a fair bit of reading and testing to be done as various solutions are offered over the course of the thread.
Hope that helps :]

Finally ad page 4 i got my answer...... I copied a new usbstor.inf into the c:\windows\inf directory and i found my sandisk and Mighty Drive...
Now only one problem left.......
My cardreader doesn't have power!!! The red light isn't burning.....
That doesn't sound like a Vista problem, sounds more like a hardware fault. Not sure.
Or maybe a BIOS issue? Probably not...
Did it work on the machine pre-Vista?
What make is it?
The one thing you can do is check every plug they put in!!!
I insert the cable into another plug and it worked.... everything is working right now...... Now i finally get some rest........
