Kudos to all the participants, and congratulations to the finalists for all their hard work and creative effort.

Without taking anything away from that, I do have a word for the selection committee. The challenge was to design a video game cover, yet how many real-world covers do not contain game platform headers, age rating symbols, or game developer logos? While these elements may be add-ons to the base image, without them the game cover is incomplete.

Perhaps I am wrong about this, but in the past what impressed me most about the winning entries was that they looked exactly like what they were supposed to be. Whether a cereal box or a billboard, all of the elements of a real-world product were represented. I, for one, would like to see this standard maintained.

Great contest. As it was already said, the judges had alot of great entries to choose from. That being said... there were a lot more great entries maybe good enough to be a finalist. Great job to all and this was alot of fun. Remember to keep this one on your calender.
