Need help adding a sky to this picture

I just got a new Sony alpha 100 camera and took this picture of a hunting shack on the bay near my house in New Jersey. It was a overcast day and I wanted to add some color to the sky. I have photo shop but don't know how to use it yet. Please fell free to comment on the picture.

there are a few ways to do it but i would use the pen tool to cut out the sky. After that, just select a sky you want and pull it to this image and place it behind the foreground. Nice shot though, i like the composition. Just work on getting up earlier to catch those blue skies and great colors

(im sure someone else will give you better detail but that is the basic runthrough)

I am going to try printing it in black and white. I always wanted to take that shot in black and white but never had the film in the camera.
