The masked boys behind the wall...
hi skaterj, welcome to the cafe. this is a routine task for photoshopers and there are many ways to do it, but the idea is to layer your composition with what you want behind, or in back, in the lowest layer. This is demonstrated below using a boy band and a brick wall with a sky layer. note that the sky is first (bottom layer) and then the boys in back, then the wall, then the boys in front. Each layer is a cutout, ie. the parts not needed are transparent. Making parts transparent is the real trick. I use masking plug-ins like Vertus and AdvantEdge, but others here do it with the mouse god gave them and stock photoshop. If u need help with that, just ask. Well, good luck, and happy photoshoping!
