I like the concept of the motorcycle and the overall design, but the font and bevel is bugging me
Try to limit the filters/bevels whenever possible or at least make it less strong.
Hope that helps,
Matt

Thanks very much!
A couple of quick questions:
1. I picked a gothic font because I've seen it used on a lot of biker-related items (jackets, usually) - are you saying that a different gothic font would look better, or do you think a different style of font altogether would look better?
2. Could you be more specific about the "filters" you're referring to? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I want to make sure I have a clear understanding before editing the images.
Thanks again, and once I hear back, I'll implement the changes you've suggested and post updated images.

1. yes the font itself is nice.. it is just after u applied bevels to it, it looks bad.
2. filters used in generating the background..
belt buckles are usually way simpler and FLAT.

Hi All,
Thanks again for all your input, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond - I've just been swamped over the last couple of days.
I think I understand what you're saying now, but I want to explain my understanding to make sure I've got it right.
To begin, I wasn't given any really specific input from my potential client, so I did some searches to determine popular subjects and "looks" for belt buckles. I found a photograph of a motorcycle buckle and used it as a model - here's the photograph (for the record, this is not my work, and I am not claiming credit for it):

I then created my original design, and tried to give it the same look and feel as the sample above:

If I'm understanding you all correctly, it would be better for me to submit my design in "raw" form, with no stylizing, which would look something like this:

Please let me know your thoughts, and thanks again for all your help.
Sam
