Staff Pick :: Work update - recent ad campaign

These three images I've recently done for an ad campaign for Dulux Woodgard.

Very Very nice DT. I love the Sphinx because of the clean cut. I question #2 with the grain apparently running across the pillars but overall, they look good to me.

    Thanks Hermie.

Hey Jim, I had a big debate about that with the client. We both agreed that we should take some licence, as it looked better with the grain running horizontally rather than vertically. Technically, it could also be achieved in real life building by using timber this way. I also did one of the Parthenon where the columns are made in sections (as they really are). In fact, I've added that visual to my post.

I do agree with you DT. There is a method of using smaller bits of wood, gluing them together and shaping them on a turning machine so I will let yopu off with it.

regardless of grain direction, lets not lose sight of the "blimey they're good" factor!

Very nice job, Barry. But then again, you don't need me to tell you that.
