I think it gets to difficult for some to do every week, if there was one topic each week you could enter or not then just the entrys get voted on an you get a score like in F1 top 8 get pionts after a number of rounds you get a winner. then start again, if yoy miss a week here and there it don't stop the league going in

i guess we have to find a way for the league to be continuous but at the same time a bit flexible...

My vote has been cast. Though I had not participated in past Leagues, I would still be interested in joining. And like I said on the other thread, anything I can do to help (even though everyone else is probably better at web than myself, I can still help design elements, help stay on people's cases about their entries, etc.).

I think it would also provide a bonding experience for people at the Cafe, that they helped build something together. Ultimately, that's what it's all about anyway: building relationships, both personal and professional, that benefit us all.

Side suggestion: Perhaps there should be a guideline that if an entrant doesn't submit within a certain timeframe, they forfeit or are substituted by someone else who wants to step in. I think why the other league fragmented was because there was no strict guidleines about when to get in entries, substitutions, etc., which led to a slow de-volution of the entire process. Just a theory, though.

so, it seems like ure already 5 ppl who can be comitted to help the 2nd league at every cost right?

and dont worry lebowski, im not a coder myself, im sure theres plenty of work for everyone!!

I am for the league, but again lots of commitment lately. Maybe to have one battle for every 10 days or something like that. And if someone don't submit in that period, loses the match.
