3d question

Hi guys,

This might sound not a very bright question, but I was wondering that is it possible that a website can allow user to create an image using predefined 3d images?. E.g the user can see a 3d canvas where one can drag n drop 3d images (like mobile phone etc) and rotate the canvas? I realize 3d images are pretty heavy in size tho...

I am newbie to 3d designing and a client's put up this question to me, which I cannot find an answer to!!

The best 3d design program I know of is called Blender. It's free, go to blend3r.org. You can make unbelievable looking images with it. Unfortunately, it's extremely difficult to learn. The simplest program I know of is 3d Canvas which you can probably find on download.com.
