    Lighting Effects no available

    Hello,

I'm working in Photoshop to create an image for printing, not web. So I think I am using CMYK instead of RGB (or have I got that reversed). Either way, the Lighting Effects filter in not aviable to me to use.

Is there a reason anyone knows of, why this filter would be unavailable? Would it due to the way I created the file initially? And is there anything I can do to make it available?

    Thanks.

I see, thank you! Can I convert the existing file to RGB or will that ruin the image? Thanks again.

that will ruin the image colours most probably but its worth a try.. after u did what u need, do the appropriate colours adjustments..

You're right. I made a copy of the file to test. It did alter the colors some, but too bad. Also, after changing it to RGB, I used the lighting effects, and changed it back to CMYK. The effects I made stayed. Thanks for your help!
