the only way to my knowledge not to get ripped is not to publish
If someone wants to get something they will do it, look at pirated software and dvd's the amount of work that goes into protecting them from being copied is huge but it still happens.

Better yet, don't publish and don't ever leave the house. That way u won't get "ripped" and you won't ever get hit by a busOriginally posted by V_Chrizz

But to add something controversial to this somewhat benign thread...so what? For most of us getting "ripped" is just a blow to the ego, which needs to be blown anyway. So someone copies your artfully crafted website in china...or Nepal for that matter? In 100 years will that matter? In 10? at all?
Did the masters of previous centuries get all blown out of shape over street peddlers painting imitations? I think not. Governments certainly did not think it a burning issue. Of course, they were too busy burning people at the stake and whatnot for witchcraft, heresy and another form of piracy.
Personally, I think generosity should be above all. Give it all away, if you can. Just a thought... from someone with 10 rupees in his pocket.
