    Blended Pic

I've been Photoshopping for about a year, learning from free tutorials at various sites. I've got the basics down OK, but I could tell there was much more I was missing out on. So I decided it was time to get some specialized instruction.

I downloaded Colin's Guru Bundle, and I've got to say it is simply amazing! I like Colin's in-depth explanations of how and why things work, and I'm especially fond of his low-key approach to teaching each lesson. I don't know why I waited so long to take advantage of this offer.

Here's my first attempt at what I learned in one of his lessons -- blending two pictures together into one. I think it turned out pretty good...I can see I'm going to have to be more attentive to the background in my picture selections, though... LOL.

The subject is my g/f's granddaughter.

I like it, and those are two great pictures--the only thing I might suggest would be getting the piano keys out of the girl's head...kind of distracting
