Embedded text in a dark background??

I've been trying for days to create an embedded or carved in look with text (arial black) on a dark blue background (color #43436d) The tutorials for type on metallic background or transparent background work well for that, but not for dark blue. Any ideas?

Im not really sure if this is the effect you are looking for or not, but here it is for what it is worth along with the settings I used.

This will work perfectly! It didn't occur to me to use black type..... duh!
