It's been awhile since I have did anything, but I now have a website that I'm doing for a comedian and I have completed my rough draft and wanted to get everyone's opinion on it. I want to hear the good and the bad and any ideas that may help me.
I hope the image isn't to big, if so let me know admins and I will post a link instead.
P.S. I know there might be a couple of type-o's, remember, it's just a rough draft...lol.
Wow, it's that bad huh?...lol.
Almost 24 hours and no critz?
I figured I would have gotten atleast a, "your work sucks, please don't come back!"....lol.
Ratsmile i quite like it. The dark blue is in keeping with a comedy-club sort of feel. The mic is a nice touch, and i like the polaroid.
I do think that the bevel you have for your header an nav is too deep and soft. And personally i always justify my text, rather than centre-align it. Also, it might be an idea to have some sort of edging to your site, as on a large resolution screen there will be lots of blue and your content will look lost.
Im not a professional btw so dont hold what i say in too high regard!
it looks very nice, but i agree with rob...maybe constraining some stuff in boxes/rectangles or using simple black or white borders might keep high res screens from just seeing floating text and buttons, very nice "rough draft"
