Im curious on how to find proffesional fonts.

Im looking for the font TIME magazine uses, because i need it for a project. All the ones i just cut from a magazine using the magaic wand dont really look the best and i need to change a letter so my teacher doesnt get mad over plagerism (sp).

any idea? (very nice to know by tonight. ( project due tomorrow)

I don't actually know. You can try running it through http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ and see if you can match it. There's a bunch that are awfully similar. Maybe just retype it out again with Trajan or something.

"professional" fonts? well, usually, the pros purchases them from Adobe, Linotype, Fontshop etc. Most of the fonts you find for free online are (bad) copies of those, and can cause some problems (crashing RIPs, etc.)
