    Wacom Tablet

I am a newbie and a senior citizen. I have a tablet and I use Photoshop as a hobby only. I don't know how to make selections with the tablet. I know I can use the lasso but I don't know which other tools I can use.
    Thanks

Any tools you can use with a mouse can also be used with a tablet.

One of the selection tools that becomes great with the tablet is the quick mask (press "Q" to enter and exit quickmask mode). Some tools such as lasso or pen I still use the mouse for.

Thanks for the info. I tried to use the marquee but I really don't get it yet. I will keep trying. I also live in Ottawa.

    Howdy neighbour!

Sounds like you could use a primer. What version of PS are you using? I'll see what I can dig up.
