i'm new to cs

hi guys,
i have a quick question for any of you cs gurus. i have cs version 8 and i am messing around with blending layers tutorial and on one of the steps it says to select linear gradient and foreground to background.i know how to select the linear gradient ,but i don't know to select foreground to background. maybe i'm missing something,just not sure. i you could help me out that would be cool.

Its in the options bar in the top, a type of gradient

maybe i'm missing something. i don't see it anywhere on there.

Make sure you are using your gradient tool, then go up to the options bar (left hand side). Click on the arrow next the the gradient to open the gradient picker.
The foreground to background gradient is the first one.

ty.it took me a bit to figure out but i did it.
i am working on a sig for a clan member,he provided the roo and i got the flag online. this is what i have so far. any help on what i can do to make it better would be cool. well here it is. i know it's bigger than it should be but these are the sizes we use for our forums.
