another flower pic

Great shot - what sort of flower are they?
the field of depth is great, but i think the cropping is what really makes this pic shine.
Nice flower - great foreground impact and a good colour-match from the flower to the background (rock?). Could be improved (imho) by either petal-plucking the imperfect ones out (one on front flower and the limp one hanging from second). Before everyone gets out the "I don't want 'gardened' photos - its natural" hatchet, the alternative is to make sure the subject is perfect - or very near; sorry but it isn't in this case.
Wow interstellar, thanks for your comments. It never really poped out at me until you said that, and now I can't look at the picture without seeing the limp pedals. Very nice observation, and I will remember that next time.
loscan: thanks, but I don't know what type of flower this is, I will find out
vykacet: thanks man

Sorry if I'm super-critical, my problem in life is that I always see the limp petals in everything. Sometimes its nice to see the flowers too.
Generally tho, there are some imperfections that we don't need to live with as here that are easily removed, if the imperfections can't be covered up (first choice) then try removing them. If removing them would ruin the subject, don't try, just move on.
I was also gonna add that I liked the perspective effect of the flowers, but I couldn't think of the word, having been up since half-three the other day! Sheeez. Also good that you included the globe without petals - it gives good form.
