Making Fire / Flames

How can I make fire / flames cause im new to photoshop 7

Glad you're here...you've come to the right place. The site that Tom referred you to is a good one. I spent alot of time there, before I found the Cafe.

They also provide methods for creating flame textures around text, etc, which is where I got the idea to make my sig. For a few more of the options available to you, try this URL as well:

The winner is Photoshop Techniques. Greg Vander Houwen has written a wonderful fire tutorial (easily the best on the net) but it's a hassle to link to.

That PT is cool, like watching a Bug Zapper knock'n down them big old bugs. Just learning how to make them PT letters do that would be a kick in the drawers.
