I think you are heading in the wrong direction. Usually the beveled buttons and shapes look very amateur. Also there doesn't seem to be a theme to your nav bar. Doesn't have to have a theme, but it usually looks better, I think.

This is an area that I have alot of problems with as well so don't take this as being harsh. You're at a point where you know how to pull off some "Tricks" with Photoshop so there's a tendency to want to try and use them. The key with web design, so I'm told, is to keep it simple and clean.
