Smoke

OK I know I have done some really silly things with my pics, and today was no different. This is a picture of the smoke that comes off a candle when you blow it out, I noticed that it makes some really cool shapes and such so I spent some time taking pics of this phenomenon. I put some color to it and copied and flipped both horizontal and vertical masking each time, well this is what I got. Let me know what you think.

dang! those are both awesome! with the zany stuff i photograph i've never even thought to use that smoke for a subject. i love what you did with it too!

Cool, I like the original shot the best. Nice idea.

Um...if you used "Too much flash" all you'd get is white. You either didn't have enough smoke, you weren't pointing/focused at the smoke, or something went very very wrong.

I am liking the original shot more. It has an organic feel to it.

Yeh i love the shapes but i agree with rigrider the 2nd one is out of focus

Hey thanks everyone for the comments, I like the original as well but once I got to messing well I couldn't stop, but thank you for all being honest.
Funk I tried about 35-40 pics and this is about as good as I could get the focus, lighting and relighting the candle got very tiresome after a while, that and I was getting lightheaded from blowing the darn thing out every 6 seconds...Joe
