Fotodog~New Zealand green lipped mussels are the best mussels on the planet. When cooked properly they almost melt in your mouth.

Techzsue~I saw Tower of Power a year or two ago and they were still great, particularly if you like brass. Enjoy!

A canon? Thats just taking the 2nd Ammendment to a new level of the absurd.

I, unfortunately, got trapped into going to my friends Frat house for the second consecutive year. It was either that or sit at home, alone, and watch Pokemon on DVD. Actually....

Spending the New Year in my favorite fashion...watching the countdown with the kids, cuddling with the wife, and staying home. I know, I'm boring...but did plenty o' partying when I was younger.

    Have a safe one everyone!

Not boring at all, Al. Just safe and happy. I got hit by a drunk driver on New Years Eve back in 78 or so. No injuries, but the idiot managed to hit 3 other cars besides mine. I haven't set foot out the door on New Years Eve since. I'm very content to watch the Boston Pops on TV every year.

They'll be playing the 1812 Overture here in 45 minutes. Woo hoo! Canons in Boston, too. Happy New Year everyone.

Happy New Year everyone (or as I like to call it, wednesday)...and thanks for the back-up Loiosh and Fantasm.

My only regret is we brought in the New Year watching UnFaithful (Richard Gere flick). That is 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. But I was in good company in my misery!
