Gonna stay home and listen to all the gun fire. I think one of our neighbors has got a small cannon too. Last year people were shooting off fireworks all over the place. Pretty spectacular.

Livin' in the country is great as long as everyone shoots up and not across the field where the livestock are. Jeeze I hope the guy with the cannon is shooting at a target... Out here at midnight on New Year's eve and on the fourth of July it's like a war zone.

Just a couple of friends over for boiled shrimp, green-lipped mussels in a garlic wine broth, broiled New Zealand lobster tails and of course the all-important Moet & Chandon! Have a great one everybody, and stay SAFE!

Going to see Tower of Power...they're kind of like funk/jazz fusion. Not my fav but it should be OK. If they suck, I'll just have to drink more than my usual two drinks.
