How u working from draw?

i did some (sight) draw with paper pen and was thinking how to work on it via photoshop, how usually poeple do? i think most use wacom table or so.
I scanned and then used the pen tool.

isnt a great result as u can see, was just practicing crystal effect with texture.

well i use a wacom tablet, although it doesnt look like youve done too bad a job on that picture nice texture too, what is the drawing of (or is it just a shape)?

I use pen and tablet too, mouse just not free or precise enough.
