Here is a fairly simple comet that I did a few days ago:

Looks brilliant. Around the comet though it looks likes either particles from the comet or stars. If its particles then your stars need to be brighter to distinguish what is and sisnt a star.

If they are stars though, try to make them look static and not mobile. To me they look like they are moving which stars simply dont do in the sense of the context at least.

Yea, the starts are a lil distracting, but i really like the rest of it. Maybe you could add some cosmic dust, or a light atmosphere around the planet? I dunno, just throwing suggestions out.

ps how did you make the font like that in the corner? Was it a font or did you make it yourself?

-edit also, should there be that many stars? Thats a problem i have when making space images, when is enough stars.

That's truly great work but I'd have it filling the whole page rather then losing 1/4 becuse of geocities.

yea, a dust or sparkles around the comet would be nice. other than that, is perfect!
