Bling Effect

Im doing the bling effect. Ive read most of the other post to ensure I wasnt asking a question that was already asked. First, Im very new to PS (Like less than 1 month). Im following the tutorial, im up to step 8. Ive got the hue/sat layer, but for the life of me, I cant get the color to show up on the text. Help!!!!

turn down the brightness

didnt work, or maybe i dont know how to turn down brightness. i adjusted the slide that said "lightness" in the hue/sat window. should I have started with yellow text? I starte with black like the tutorial.

It shpuld be an adjustment layer on top of the diamonds

there is, i believe. i have an adjustment layer. how do i select the color of the text?

iM REALLY NEW AT THIS, IM SURE THERE IS SOMETHING IM OVERLOOKING. IN THE TUTORIAL, IT SAYS SELECT A "BRONZE" GRADIENT. i DONT HAVE BRONZE. COULD THAT BE IT?

i got it. It was ths the gradient. i had to select a "gold" gradient. I didnt have bronze. Bronze probably gives a better effect, using the gold gradient gives it a "cheezy" gold effect. not that good dark color in the tut. That was the prob. thanks for your help
