HTML Code For Favicon. Help!

I've Tryed a few HTML Codes to add a favicon but it does not work maybe am doing something wrong, can someone give me the

I was doing some research on the Favicon matter, so I found out that the new browsers such as IE6 and the new NS7 dont support the favicons anymore....for such reasons as in the icons were carrying worms & trojans so they stopped the support...sorry guys/gals im upset about the issue too

Weird I have IE6.0 and I have a few favicons showing??? Also how sad are some people, trying to put a virus in everything, for god's sake get a life!
