Viewing other peoples work inspires me, especially the realm of Dark Art. It just really catchs my eye, I love it :)
Anyways, I decided to start trying to do some of it myself, so I made this. It's still a W.I.P but I think it's coming along good for my 1st try.
Thanks goes out to 713 Designs for the original stock of the girl, SkinsnTemplates for some ideas (from the tutorials) and the many Dark Art artists who inspired me.
All C&C welcome.

Updated version up now!
Lightened it up a bit (from some suggestions), and tried to add some more stuff so it didnt look so plain.
Tell me which one you like better or what u dont like about da3.

Oo the typography has GOT to (a) GO; or (b) have a serious engine overhaul. Feel the theme and pick something that flows with it. Sans serif completely cenetered is the worst thing you could have done to this otherwise cool imagery you've captured. I'd strongly suggest a much older serif: Garamond is a great choice when you can't find what you need... but there's a bunch of older fonts that are very much alive in the mainstream today that would all suit this much better, Then we want to think of either fully justified or left aligned text (never ever ever center your body copy). And without the orphan ("GONE!" ). Once that's clear, drop the point size by one or two, open up the leading, and maybe throw Small Caps on the first words. And match the colour of those to something dominant in the image. That light pink on the forehead would probably suit well.
Here, I whipped up an example for you.
Always spend some time looking at your lines and your balance when you start working on typography. It's not just words that count... it's how you say them. :)
